Harvard Report Questions Value of 'College for All'

Having been an educator in both an urban and suburban settings, there are aspects of this article that ring true. In many of Columbus suburbs, approximately 80-85% of graduating students submit college applications to 2-year or 4-year colleges. With many urban districts across the United States struggling to even graduate that percentage, I guess the big question is if the "college for all" mantra is too narrow and too unrealistic of a goal? More importantly, are schools preparing the students who do not go on to college to successfully transition to the working world? What do you think?
